The Silver RS1 delivers clarity, detail, speed, and punch in a compact, stylish package. This 2-way bass-reflex speaker features a 6½-inch C-CAM (Ceramic Coated Aluminum Magnesium) woofer and a 1-inch C-CAM gold dome tweeter.
 
The RS1 woofer incorporates a new edge-wound voice coil to provide increased efficiency, output, and power handling. The new voice coil has more copper and heat capacity than conventional voice coils resulting in 90dB efficiency and 80-watt power handling for the RS1. The speaker’s dynamic range is also increased because the ‘start-and-stop’ of the new voice coil more efficiently converts incoming signal into motion.
 
Other RS1 features include:

• Woofer chassis made of a non-magnetic, glass-infused cast polymer to damp unwanted resonance.
• New bi-wire ‘ready’ gold-plated cable terminals.
• Symmetric grille design and rear-mounted logo allows for vertical or horizontal bookshelf positioning.
• Smooth, contoured cabinet edges and select premium quality finishes on all surfaces give the Silver range an unrivaled appearance at this price level. All Silver models are available in Rosenut, Walnut, Cherry, or Black Oak ‘matched’ wood veneers. Our matched pairs use wood sheets cut from the same log section to assure color and grain consistency.

Use the RS1s in stereo pairs in high-performance music systems or build a Silver home theater with the RSLCR center channel, RSFX surrounds, and the RSW12 powered subwoofer.
